How to set photo and ringtone for windows mobile contacts on computer with windows mobile contacts manager

Here is the step by step guide on how to use iMobileTool contacts Manager to manages windows mobile contacts on your computer. You can:
* View all contacts on computer
* Add new contacts
* Edit contact info
* Set photo and ringtone for contacts
* Switch contact between sim card and outlook


iMobileTool Contacts Manager is a free tool designed by iMobileTool to help you view and manage your windows mobile phone contacts on your computer easily. Below are some tips on how to use it:

View Contacts
Step 1. Use iMobileTool contacts Backup to backup your contacts from your mobile phone into a .cbf file. Please refer to How to backup contacts from windows mobile phone to computer.

Step 2. Transfer the contacts backup file(*.cbf) from your mobile phone to your computer by ActiveSync. Then run the 'iMobileTool Contacts Manager.exe'. Simply click 'File' -> 'Import'. See the following screenshot.


Step 3. Then you will see a popup windows. You simply select a contacts backup file and click 'open'.


Step 4. Now all contacts are imported into iMobileTool Contacts Manager. See the following screenshot.


Step 5. You can view your contacts in different view modes. For example, if you check 'Contact Card' box, the contacts will be displayed as the above mode; if you check “'Contact List' box, the contacts will be listed in the following way (see the following screenshot).




Edit contact info, set photo and ringtone for contacts

* Double Click on the contact you want to edit, an edit screen will popup, see as follows:


* Now,you can add or edit its detailed information, such as name info, company info etc. If you want to set a photo for this contact, simply click on the default photo, and then you will see:

Then you can select a photo on your computer and click 'Open' to confirm.

* If you want to cancel photo setting for that contact, you can select the 'Delete photo' option from Menu (see the following screenshot).


* In this edit screen, you can also set special ringtone for the contact. Simply select 'Browse' option from ringtone dropdown menu (see the following screenshot), and then select your wanted music file on your computer. It supports mp3, wma and wav formats files.


* After finish editing, simply close the edit screen and the changes will be auto saved. If you don't want to save what you have edited, please use 'Exit without saving' from the Menu (See the following screenshot).




Switch contact between sim card and outlook

* In the same edit windows, you can use 'switch contacts to sim card' and ' switch contacts to outlook' option from the Menu, which can help you switch contacts between sim card and outlook easily.




Add new contacts

* You can use 'Add New Contact' option on ContactsManager to add a new contact easily.




Export contacts to .cbf backup File and restore to your phone

* Click the 'Export' menu, then you can export the contacts to a .cbf backup file(*.cbf). This backup file can restore back to your window mobile phone.
