HTC TP2 vs Samsung Moment vs HTC EVO

So i am currently in the market of getting a new phone. I did own the HTC touch pro and liked it except for the fact after time the touchscreen seemed to become less responsive and also became more bugged out. I am really torn as to which phone i should look into. I am sort of looking for something that i can mess around with and can handle every day tasks very easily. i was honestly looking into the TP2 but i really like the idea of having apps with the android OS. The thing i like most is the touchscreen and qwerty KB with the TP2 and moment... im not sure if i want to explore an all touchscreen phone but the EVO just looks like a really sick phone. I was wondering if i could get some general ideas about all three of these phones and maybe base my decision off that. I dont like to read reviews too much and would like to base my buy off people that actually own the phone (excluding the EVO but still compare it to the others). I wish there was a way i could actually play around with the phone and see if i were to like it. Could the moment be compared to the droid? if so my brother has the droid and i actually kinda like it. Also i am with sprint and only sprint and wont change carriers just for a phone. Feel free to send me PMs with your opinions.

Re: HTC TP2 vs Samsung Moment vs HTC EVO

1) Pro2:

Pros:
Qwerty KB
completely change the UI
Office/Business Tools
WVGA Resolution

Cons:

slower processor (528mhz and doesn't perform very well)
WM 6.x lacks apps and games (compared to Android)
no widgets on home screen
OS not upgradable to 7 (although that might be a Pro)
too bulky (some say, and I agree)
resistive screen

2) Moment

Pros:

faster processor than tp2 (800mhz, performs much better)
Android (though no 2.1 yet I think)
Qwerty KB
capacitive screen

Cons:

weak resolution ( 320 x 480) - would be the deal breaker for me
small screen size (3.2" compared to pro2 @ 3.6")
too bulky (some say, and I agree)

3) Evo

Pros:

1 ghz snapdragon processor (smokes the other 2)
4.3" capacitive screen
resolution = 480 x 800 (sexy)
Android 2.1 (soon to have 2.2) with Sense UI
4G Wimax
8 megapixel camera, LED Flash, Geotagging
HDMI TV out
720p video capture

cons:

no qwerty (although I actually rather that)
pretty big (my HD2 is BIG)

I think the clear winner here is the Evo, IMO getting anything else would not be smart move at all and you would very quickly regret it.

Re: HTC TP2 vs Samsung Moment vs HTC EVO

those phone arent even in the same class of devices!! its not fair to put the tp2 vs the evo!!

now a far battle would be :

N1 vs. Evo vs. Droid I vs. touch hd2

or even more N1 vs. Droid I and Evo vs. hd2

Re: HTC TP2 vs Samsung Moment vs HTC EVO

2.1 is available for the Moment, and since I have owned two of these, and will own the third soon I can say the Moment was better IMO then the TP2 simply because I couldn't handle WM anymore. The screen on the Moment is beautiful, but the phone itself didn't impress me much, that is why I am using a Hero right now.

The screen may be "beautiful" but don't you get tired of the weak resolution of the Hero and Moment? I love my MyTouch for android, but the resolution kills me.

and yeah the Hd2 and n1 are better comparisons, but he's on Sprint, so he can't have those comparisons because his network obviates such a conversation.
