Windows Mobile 6.5 network PAM?

Every time I use internet explorer (or the data), it uses Phone as Modem. Is there any way to fix this?

Umm, well, that's not what I meant. Phone As Modem costs extra on Sprint, and also should be used when the phone is connected to the computer and used for internet. When it is the phone itself, it should just dial to Power Vision instead, and since I DON'T HAVE Phone-as-Modem, it's costing me EXTRA.

Re: Windows Mobile 6.5 network PAM?

Alright I feel better. Today is the first day of my billing cycle. I streamed some music and went on the web this afternoon. I just went and checked my account and the data was registered where it always is. It looks like it is good. I'll check again tomorrow.

I decided to try WMWiFiRouter and set it up for Powervision. It would not let me get to the internet. PAM would let me connect. For some reason Powervision is not working.

Hmmmm, idk, imma just wait and see if they do anything about this issue. Besides, WM 6.5 looks barely ANY different from 6.1, and on top of that it is waaayy to buggy right now.

Re: Windows Mobile 6.5 network PAM?

You can actually use a program called NoData.

http://www.modaco.com/content/pocket...tility-nodata/

Toggle off the "phone as modem". Will never connect unless you enable it.

That is what I did because my Treo Pro was doing the same thing.

Will it still allow Powervision or shut everything down?

What exactly does this do?? I just updated my uncles Treo Pro to windows 6.5.1 and internet sharing isn't working. The connect box in greyed out. Will this program allow him to use internet sharing??
