Whats up with the treo pro?

So im getting this phone in a few days...switchin over from the touch pro (i'm more of a hardware button/portrait qwerty kinda guy) and I can't seem to find much news on any development/unlocking/etc attempts goin on..
anyone got any info?
If nothings up yet, how about anything that might improve overall usage of the phone?
lemme know what you guys know!

Have you read anything in the Treo Pro Forum, youde probly find out everything you need to know, theres only 4 pages so it shouldnt be too hard.

ive read the forum..but there really isn't much there..
I was kinda hoping to get a personal response from someone who has the phone and could give me some 'insider' tips ya know

Well I was a user of the touch pro and I made the switch over to the TP for the same reasons that you did. The Treo pro is the BEST overall WM device that I have ever owned. Initially I purchased the treo pro to hold me over till the palm pre or the BB niagara comes out. I don't know if I will make the switch to these devices now because of my love for the treo pro.

I love all of the hardware buttons and how fast the device performs. The difference between this device and others that I have owned(diamond, Touch pro, touch) is that this phone has no gimmick, it just works.

As far as the unlocker and customer roms. I have heard that some people were working on it but I don't see any progress and we might never see it. The only chance that we have is to raise money as a community for someone to unlock this device for us.

I think they are also waiting for Sprint to update software so they have a new ROM to work with.
