password protection on excel moble

I have some excel files that are from a third party and I must use these exact files with my work. The problem is that I do not have the password for these files, but need them on my treo 800. Any suggestions?

If you do not have the passwords for these files then how would you expect use them to begin with?

Re: password protection on excel moble

The spreadsheets are password protected for editing but are open for their intended use. I am in the construction industry and these spreadsheets are supplied and required for use by the Texas Department of Transportation. As long as you are not trying to change a locked cell everything is peachy until you try to open them on mobile excel. It won't even open a password protected spreadsheet.

Ok that makes sense now. Unfortunately the geniuses at Microsoft removed this feature in Office Mobile 6.1. You can try downloading third party software like Documents to Go and see how that works.
