update and no sms

ok I was at 1.13 with mms and palm messaging with sms patch ....everything worked fine......I did the 1.15 update which went through but all my apps needed to be reinstalled so I decided to hard reset since its been awhile. after reset I installed everything the way it was proior to update...also update is still reading as 1.15 and now my text don't work ( acting like before patch came out can't get to verizon) ....my concern is if I check windows for the smsbuildpatch (smspatch file) its not there....if I try to run the sms patch program its says not for ur software 1.15.....what now? please help

He already tried that... it says it's not for his version, which is correct. I haven't been having any issues with SMS. It might be an issue with your phone as you shouldn't have had to reinstall all your software. Did you keep your SD card in the phone while performing the update? The instructions specifically say not to.

I believe there might be an SMS outage. I cannot send messages to or receive messages from anyone outside of Sprint.

Time to really call ecare now.

I had to do hard reset in order for the update to complete. It would load the files and then disconnect.

Now, when I reinstall threaded SMS, upon soft reset, my phone hangs at the white Treo screen...the progress bar looks 99% complete but the phone never fully loads.

The only way to get it unstuck is to do another hard reset. My backup reload did not work either...I was receiving 'security certificate' issues when executing non-stock programs so I had to load everything from scratch.

Anyone know if the threaded sms can be reinstalled with v1.15?

*** UPDATE: I gave it one last try and the install now worked. Have no clue why. Now at least it is confirmed that installing the threaded sms tweak after the rom update does work.

I don't know about "reinstalled" but I'm still using it after the upgrade and it works ok.

i didnt have sd card in when i did upgrade as per instructions.....after upgrade none of my programs that r on the card had any shortcuts on the start menu and got errors on startup.......

i also couldnt send sms from 12am today till 3am......all the ones i sent during that time came in all at once after 3am......did anyone else have this problem? now it picks and chse who it send s to and when a lot better then last night when it was zero!
