700wx with HTC Home- Suggest new Calendar Appointments Program to use?

I was using SPB Diary to show all of my appointments and everything on the main page. I have decided I like the look of the HTC Home plugin, but wanted to find a program that could be launched from the launcher that could show me my Appointments and possibly tasks.

Previously I had SPB Diary which was a Today Plugin, so that would not work.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated?

Thanks,

~J

Are you looking for an appointment/calendar manager or an app to show appointments on the Today screen? For the Today Screen do a search for TodayAgenda. It's a free app. I love it.

I'm more looking for a manager that I can run from an icon on the today screen. Is there something like that out there?

Thanks,

~J

TodayAgenda will open whaever manager you're using. I personally use Agenda One because I'm used to its interface. I've used it for years. I can set TodayAgenda to open AgendaOne when I press and hold an appointment. (I can choose to open the appointment or open the calendar, tasks, or clock/alarms, create a new appointment, or a new task) all from the right click menu it brings up.

Agenda One is by Developer One, but I know not many people here use it.

Will using this allow me to see my next appointment on the Today screen though? Agenda One looks like a great program to manage everything, I was just hoping under the HTC Home Screen that I have loaded on the bottom I could fit it so it would show my next upcoming appointment on that screen. Is it possible with Agenda One and TodayAgenda?

Also, how do I get Today Agenda to Open AgendaOne?

Thanks,

~J

AgendaToday can be set to show a specific number of days, so if you have it set for 1 day, you'll see all of today's appointments. Once an appointment is "over" it can be set to disappear though. It won't show just your next appointment if it's the next day. You'd have to have it set for 2 days. I guess it depends on how many appointments you have per day and how far ahead you need to see what's coming.

In the AgendaToday options you choose to have it open the standard Outlook interface or any other manager you have installed. I chose Agenda One.

Let's see if I can remember how to post a picture.

Here I've got 2 days worth of events/appointments/birthdays showing on my today screen. clicking an event can take me to the event. right clicking an event brings up options to see the calendar, etc.

AgendaOne is a great program!!!! I really appreciate you telling me about it.

I'm trying to find the best way to integrate it with my Today screen, the TodayAgenda program is great, it just looks like it's not going to quite fit as I always have a scrollbar on the right side, Ill have to play with it and see, I've messed with the fonts and everything, we will see.

Thanks again!

Did you check the compact view on the General Tab? Also try fixed height in Layout and set the pixels. Of course the more appointments you have per day the more lines it will need.
