Just saw this on engadget.

Re: WM7 Screenshot from Microsoft!!!

There's been a lot of skepticism about that picture. If you look closely you'll see the icons overlapping the menus at the bottom, so it's unlikely a real screenshot.

Ding ding...

Yeah, this is some silliness going on, nothing for the community to get worked up over.

And god helps us if that is WM7 looks like.

Re: WM7 Screenshot from Microsoft!!!

Maybe I'm retarded or maybe it's NoScript but can someone repost the screen? Even if it is bogus?

Re: WM7 Screenshot from Microsoft!!!

Microsoft showed Windows Mobile 7 off today. Can't be too long till it starts leaking if they're starting to show it off.

Revolutionary, no need to take away: the next version of Windows Mobile, as shown by the leaks and the first screenshots of the new system, the Web will soon be spring, we are faced with an upheaval of the logic of interaction and not just a substantial revision of the interface. The concept of “applications”, as the programs continue to live their important identities, will bend to the principle of “user experience”.
Finally the performance, the fluidity in the display of screens, images and icons becomes a priority. As powerful and versatile Windows Mobile will be next, will never submit to slowdowns and delays in the response. How will, indeed, as they did to achieve this result is not yet technically clear. But developers say Microsoft is certain: the experience of use to forget the “old” Windows Mobile.
we will be the judge of that... lol

pretty strong comments for wm7...me likey

Re: WM7 Screenshot from Microsoft!!!

Those look very much like the screenshots of wm7 from two years ago. If thats what they're planning to release then im drawing the chalk outline now. It looks mostly like any menu in of the 6.x releases, only color was added and the icons are a little bigger. Their were some more interesting and believable pics somewhere. I cant remember where i saw them but the calendar and phone screen looked waaaaayyyyy better
