As documented here, the HTC Touch Pro2 is indeed coming to T-Mobile.. It is as official as it gets.. Below is an image of the FCC documentation of it...

Good news for all you 2g and 1/2 speed, T-mobile fanboys lol. I bet this will be crippled though. T-mobile and Verizon have a record of doing this to HTC phones. The wing was pitiful and no where near as good as the mogul.

its been announced ages ago that htc will release this on more providers
the question is who will get it first?
Sprint announced the rhodium immediately after the tpro was released so we all knew that. Plus the leaked images argued tmo of America would get the touch pro 2. Its no surprise here.
Now whether it will be gimped
the dump and the person with the test model don't think so. Personally neither do I

the tmobile version will use tmobiles 3g internet. it may not be sprint. but its good news for the tmobile people out there!

Looks like it has the following buttons:

Volume Up & Down
Windows (Instead of the Home Button)
Call Answer & Call End
Power Button
Mute Button (for use with the conference speakerphone feature)
