Yeah some users were having issues with being re-directed there from their mobile devices even though they prefer the regular site, but it seems MySpace was made aware of that and now you don't get re-directed anymore.
So if you want the mobile version you need the mobile URL.

This has been available for about 2 months. They were beta testing it. I heard about it on www.phonescoop.com and have been using it for a while. It is kinda neat when you want to check your messages when you're on the go.
