How to upgrade Q Out of warranty

I have a Sprint Q that I need to update. Sprint store cant do it. Motorola software update says its oow. How can I update the firmware?

im on MP_BSP_C_02.07.61-49P_HW_P2.1
and need MP_BSP_C_02.07.61-69P_HW_P2.1

Has someone made an .exe or something that I can flash from bootloader?

wow, im in the exact same boat as you. i have my tp and fired up my Q last night. can't update.

I think I can use RSD and flash it, but I need to find the most updated sbf.

Well something is obviously wrong with the phone as I cant even hard reset it. It gives an error. Called Sprint tech, they are sending a replacement.

on motorola update site, select january 2009 as the purchase date. was that so hard?
some people always follow the rules.

gman, its not that hard cause its not there! You choose carrier, then device, then download their stupid update program. There is no option to choose a purchase date. Unless you show me some proof, thanks for your useless post!

Bump for an answer. I can't send text messages anymore because I tried installing Smms and it requires this software update to run.
