Anyone check out Google Earth yet?

Any one else check it out? It's not bad, pretty neat in GPS mode too. Mostly eye candy though.

I'd be interested in any uses you all might think it good for.

Re: Anyone check out Google Earth yet?

Oh yeah! Google Earth is amazing on the Droid. Really glad it's available. A mind blowing app to show off our phones! Voice search is especially cool.

Re: Anyone check out Google Earth yet?

I haven't really used the full version but it does do everything I thought the full version does. PLUS it will follow your GPS so it's really neat while driving.

Re: Anyone check out Google Earth yet?

Havn't found anything it can do that Google Maps can't. However, it is a great wow factor when selling this phone to my customers. I have to direct them here to learn more, with disclaimer of course.

Maps is a completely different application with different purposes and uses.

Thats like saying "Barcode Scanner" is good enough when talking about Google Goggles. Sure, some of the features cross over but they serve totally different purposes.
