Can someone school me on the GPS capabilities and how to use them on a VZW Touch? Like an everything needed to know thread. I am completely lost.

Thanks.

that's a tough one, as it really depends on whether you're running stock or have upgraded your phone. It would be helpful if you could provide a little information, such as whether you're using the phone right out of the box or unlocked it, and what radio you have (look under settings and device info). Without that kind of information, it's impossible to direct you to which "how to" you need. Because VZW locks down its gps, it's not as simple as just firing up a gps program.

Do you have WM6.1 installed.

If so, when you first turned your phone on & aligned the screeen did you let the customizations run. If you did then things just got more difficult.

Re: VZW GPS Questions

Do you remember anything about resetting before the customizations screen? Did you have GPS working before? is you phone unlocked with cokeman 2.31 or .40?
