Vogue SMS Notification

Does anyone know how to edit the CDMA vogue so that the screen doesn't automatically turn on everytime a text message is received? I can't always check my texts right away and I've had the phone dial contacts while still in my pocket. thanks.

Get a screen lock utility like ThrottleLock (http://www.throttlelauncher.com/portal/)
