htc rom vs sprint rom

ok so like everybody else i was all hyped up with WM6.1 i was being lazy and i took my htc touch to a sprint store. Came out with a smile....finally i can watch youtube videos using windows media player, the opera browser looks ok....new game comes with it...i only looked at it and closed the application. The option to add email account was still there...you know (Text messaging, new email, outlook....etc)
But what happens when i get home? My dumb butt decides to install the ROM from the htc.com website...thinking it will be better...and what happens?
everything is there, except i get 3 errors at the very beginning, but pay no attention, and now media player will not play youtube videos, the option to add new email account was not there, i found it later, the new game is gone, heck....i can not even watch youtube videos at all....my tpcmp does not work, all the you tube videos that i downloaded can not play. TCPMP will not even open.....yes i am a noob, and now i guess i have to go back so they can install it all over again...but i will go to a different store so they won't know i messed up......any help please
BTW is TPCMP compatible with WM6.1 at all???

there is no difference that i know of, they are the same exact thing i believe i could be wrong though.

my phone also worked awesome coming straight from sprint but when I up'd to 6.1 so i could have GPS it runs awful. But what do u do? GPS or running great? No bluetooth problems, no media player problems alternating between calls and songs.... I chose GPS, it's great, i can't help it, i'll deal with annoyances. Who else probably made the same decision?

i'll try to go back to "another" repair center...lol...so they can do it.....
Wacth youtube videos...being able to save them onto my microsd card, and.....maybe one day listen to the radio station from my country on my cellphone....."wait i know it sounds crazy, but there is a reason for everything......is that too much to ask for?
