Random ROM/OS/GPS corruption on Touch/Vogue (too hot???)

I had some weird problems with my Bell Touch today..

- GPS is not recognized anymore by any software - GPSviewer, Google Maps GPS Today etc - all say "nay, no more GPS!"..
- system becomes sluggish
- cannot connect anymore to a PC ...

a few soft resets do not help..
I had to hard-reset my ROM (NFSFSN's 10.0) in order to bring phone
to normal...

is this ROM-specific, or maybe hardware related
( Touch has just overheated - 31 C today! )

is there anyone else who experiences similar problems?
