New/Replaced Touch's SD card error's?

Are the latest Touch's sold or Replacements having the memory corruption? I just took my touch to the repair store, bad screen. Will have a new one(3-5days) Kinda lame they didn't have any in stock! I asked the REP if they fixed the memory card corruption problem(while showing him the demo they had with corrupt sd card files! He said there is no fix yet!
I can't believe they can sell a product that has obvious faults. I don't want to risk putting my MiniSD card in a new phone that is known to corrupt my 4 GB card! Any experience on what firmware theey have now!

youre right but have you tried the new leaked official rom i had it for about 2+ weeks now without any memory card issues so far before the upgrade i was lucky to go a week without losing everything in my card so if you havent upgraded yet i strongly recomend you do maybe itll fix your problem.
