Is there a way to do a soft reset besides holding the power button?

Like, a key command or something? Thanks.

theres a little hole on the bottom right. stick your stylus in it and it does a soft reset. hold down the red and green buttons and do it and it will do a hard reset.

There are also a lot of software options. One of the more popular is psShutXP.

Re: Is there a way to do a soft reset besides holding the power button?

Also the Startmenu replacement QuickMenu has a soft reset button as well. It's HIGHLY recommended and free.

Just a quick note, using the stylus to soft reset is not the most effective way to soft reset your device... it's always better to use an application, it lessens the liklihood of any unsaved data being lost.
