Re: GPS not-locking problems
Hey,
Yeah my bell phone is also not locking but I won't change from OMJ, it is simply the best rom. To delete files just go to the windows directory and delete them and if you can't. go to program files and just delete that program (It hasn't brought any problem to me) and go to windows/start menu and delete that program shortcut from there, and also if it's a start up program go to windows/start up and delete from there, Good luck brother |

Re: GPS not-locking problems
I don't know if this will help, but I've attached a cab of a program that makes the difference between my GPS working or not, but I'm not running OMJ's rom, but one cooked from the PPCGeeks kitchen. Hope this helps. Let me know either way; if I can help further I'll do my best.

Re: GPS not-locking problems
you can go into Windows\Start Menu\Programs and delete the .lnks for the programs you don't want, but what's cooked in the rom is in. By deleting the .lnks the programs just won't show up when you open "Programs." And about the gps, be sure you have "Location On" selected under Phone: Location Setting. And you can do a registry tweak: go to HKLM\Software\HTC\SUPL AGPS\ and under GPSMode, change the DWORD Data value to 4.

Re: GPS not-locking problems
So I installed the two registry tweaks that go along with GPS Kick Start, and I put GPS Kick Start on my device to see if that makes a difference.
Unfortunately, now when I run GPS Viewer and scan for my gps, it says that it can't find anything!? What's up with that? Anyone have that problem or know the solution? Thanks! |
