OK Total Noob

I'm a total noob when it comes to this "flashing" and updated ROMs and so on. It seems the more and more I read the more and more I get confused. Is there a link that gives a step by step upgrade for everything...Rev A, Radio, and so on...?

Confused

Re: OK Total Noob

If you want to upgrade everything, you need a stock carrier rom. The most recent is the leaked one, which can be found in post#1 of the stickied leaked Sprint ROM thread.

After having done that, you need to flash ImCoKeMaN's unlocker to flash any custom rom or use the kitchen. Link to unlocker is in Coke's stickied unlocker thread.

Links to various custom roms can be found in their own threads. The kitchen has a stickied thread. Links are always in post #1 of the respective thread.

Re: OK Total Noob

Needs to be updated. Steps 1-7 are fair, but from step 8 on, it refers to the Alltel ROM, which isn't current or the preferred radio (currently, the 3.37.15 radio from the Sprint test rom is the preferred radio to flash - instructions are the same, just different file). Also includes instructions for flashing titan radio, which should be surrounded in DO NOT DO THIS warnings. The GPS section assumes you flashed one of the custom roms mentioned earlier on the page.
