Doubling bandwidth on my laptop using both DSL and EVDO...

Is this possible?

I have my touch tethered to my laptop, using my EVDO connection getting DSL speeds... but when I try to connect to my existing wifi, it won't actually connect to the internet.

I'm running Vista x32.. anyone know of a way to set up both connections to run simultaneously, essentially doubling my internet bandwidth?

LOL....Um actually it is possible. Just not practical.

What you are looking for is a IP bonding solution.

Here are a few options...You're not gonna like them though...

Firebrick
Google Ip Bonding
A tidbit of info to get you started

I wish I could just give you a step by step guide of what you need and how to do it but unfortunately the people who wrote the specifications on TCP/IP did not envision a parallel bandwith type of system.

The problem lies in the way data is transfered. You need firebrick to transmit packets through two ip's utilizing either a file block resume protocol like multiport downloaders or a queing system that fetches through two sources. I.E parsing a HTML and requesting half of the content through NIC A and the other half through NIC B.

As you can see it's not practical. However possible.
