Unhappy Low mic issue - cannot use wired headset or BT

Hi... I have been dealing with this issue for the last month and I am getting really frustrated. I have the XV6900 on VZW with NFSFAN v1 & radio 3.37.77.

I am not sure if this happened after upgraded to NFSFAN final build. The issue is that if I use wired OR wireless headsets including bluetooth headsets, the other party says that my voice is very very low and they cannot hear me. (Speakerphone or using the phone to talk is fine)

I have upgraded the ROM several times, used updated audiopara files, added registry settings for AudioGain but no luck.

Please HELP. My last option is to use the VZW fw which I really dont want to. If I did, I dont think it will fix anyways.

any ideas?

Sounds to me like your Vogue doesn't like those headsets you are trying to use.
Some headsets require specific firmware to work correctly also. If your internal mic and speakerphone are both working well then I would say it is a headset issue and not with your device. Take a look at this thread for some headset suggestions:

Re: Low mic issue - cannot use wired headset or BT

I've got the same problem, my original headset that came with the phone doesn't really work at all. I'm with NFSFAN's WM6.5 1.00 FINAL ROM.

I really miss my hands free setup in the car.

Re: Low mic issue - cannot use wired headset or BT

It's a known issue with all of NFSFAN's roms after v11.
