Exclamation HTC Touch won't update ROM correctly

I flashed my HTC Touch to CricKet and CricKet couldn't activate it. So I thought I'd use CokeMans unlocker, when I did that I disconnected it from the computer. It rebooted, then it rebooted again and again and again and you get my point. This has happened before, the way I solved it before I flashed the official sprint ROM and everything was back to normal. But now when I try to update with that ROM it freezes at 29% always. I tried tons of other ROMs they just keep rebooting. Please I need help!! Thanks in advance

Re: HTC Touch won't update ROM correctly

Are you using a 64-bit OS? I have had issues flashing ROMs from Windows 7 64-bit, where the flash gets partway and then fails. You might try using a different computer (one with a 32-bit OS) or simply flashing directly from an SD card to see if that helps you get around the issue.

Re: HTC Touch won't update ROM correctly

What exactly are your intentions?
Are you sticking with cricket?
I agree with Snowden, try flashing from your storage card.
Format a 2gb or less storage card FAT32. Place rom in root dir of card and rename to VOGUIMG.NBH and insert card in device. Put device in bootloader until it starts the flash.

Just put your card in a sd adapter and put it in the sd card slot on your pc or put your card in a card reader and connect the card reader to your pc via usb cable. Then navigate to My Computer and right click on your card and select format and there should be some options to format it FAT32.

Will I be able to use the SD card again after formating?

You say that cricket couldn't activate. What is the reason?
What bootloader # does your bootloader screen show?
Have you tried extracting the RUU_signed.nbh from the shipped sprint ROM renaming it to voguimg.nbh place it on the root of a 2 gb or less fat32 formatted sd card and place you phone into bootloader.
And yes you will be able to use the card after formatting.
Here give this one a try http://www.4shared.com/file/18909079...bh_1-5-10.html
just unzip/unrar and put on your card.

NO! It has to be 2 GB or less and I personally use a 256 MB for all my ROMs.
