Correct. As to your question about how to enable it after the fact, this is something that I am trying to find out as well. I have worked my way backwards to the Alltell ROM flashing and gone forward again from there, and still no RevA, so I am not sure what the deal is here, exactly. When I find out, I will post.

It's there.

As a side note what are the theoretical speeds we should be seeing. Does anyone know what Sprint Mogul's with the official ROM are getting for speed tests? I know this may be a bad place to ask this, but just wondering. I know they are supposed to b?

According to the CDG they should be:
Quote:
Rev A achieves average throughput of 450-800 kbps in the forward link and 300-400 kbps in the reverse link
as compared to
Quote:
Rel 0 delivers average throughput of 300-700 kbps in the forward link and 70-90 kbps in the reverse link
but is this truly whats expected?

You can't. Your location is determined by your DNS settings, which can be served from any number of locations around the US as determined by Sprint (or OpenDNS, if you are using them).

Maybe I am misunderstanding what I should expect to see, but I am under the impression that you have to have the RevA setting (like my Mogul got when I finally got a RevA - enabled ROM) in EPST before you can expect to really have it. Is that incorrect? From what I have read, some people who claim to have RevA are saying they have this in their EPST, which I do not, after numerous attempts.

Which begs the question...why am I even trying...I live in a fringe area anyway, and can hardly notice any difference with my RevA Mogul. I'll tell you why...because I am freakin' addicted to tweaking this stupid thing, that's why.

The it's there was in reference to the speedtest being in the sig line.

I have no idea about the setting. I can see a speed difference and the upload speeds are much higher than expected with rel 0. Thats how I am led to believe that it is there.

Hmm, I found this possible answer:

http://www.sprintusers.com/forum/sho...d.php?t=158321

After flashing OMJ's rom I just tried it again and it looks much better now:

PS: In EPST Rev A still shwos disabled though.... ?????
