Re: Crap. Bricked?

if you are having issues with communications, maybe make sure it didn't lockdown again? make sure the white bar still says USB. probably a longshot at this point but might be worth checking...

1 - Hard reset. VolDn/Power/Stylus, then VolUp to hard reset does nothing. The phone restores, but gives me the same result.

2 - Flash from SD. My first though since the device will not boot and I feel it might had been a USB error on the PC. While I have no problem getting it into hard reset mode via VolDn/Power/Stylus, it will quickly flash something about no image found, and go to tri-color. I've double and triple checked RAPHIMG.nbh for the correct filename, tried several different ROMs on several different cards. I've retried formatting the cards in FAT32 and FAT16 and trying again. No joy.

3 - Tri-Color, then flash from PC. Throws up a communications error, I can't even start a flash this way. Again, tried on several different PC's.

Might be FUBARed, any thoughts? I did a backup before the flash luckily, so if I get a replacement TP1, I can unlock, flash to my old ROM and restore. Hopefully I won't have to do all that.
Are you sure your phone is correctly unlocked? If you had USB issues while unlocking your phone (i.e. during the flash part), it could be preventing you from flashing from the SD card. Make sure the phone is unlocked by going to the tricolour screen and checking to see it says something along the lines of "Security Unlocked" at the top and "SPL-0.37.CMONEX" (or whatever version you have flashed for the bootloader).

Whatever the case, I would begin by following the instructions to attempt to unlock the device. Once you are certain the device has been unlocked, try to flash something via SD card. Once/if the image update is successful, I personally like to remove the battery, throw it back in and press Power/VolDown/Action and follow on screen instructions to hard reset the device.

The fact that you can get to the tri-colour screen is a good sign by the way .

Re: Crap. Bricked?

Fixed, the original machine snapped out of its USB funk and I was able to get it from Tri-Color. Thank you to everyone who responded, that's a big reason I love this community!
