Video Out Assist

Ive done a couple searches and i cant find any specific info on Video out.
Is their a way to force the phone out of landscape while using video out? This would be my first question, but any info or pointing in the correct direction would be nice.Any tweaks and updates whatever would be great too.

Use the settings | screen applet

On the main page there should be a setting for landscape or portrait....but on some rom's it's hidden by default.

if the rom you are using doesn't have the radio buttons for landscape/portrait in the screen settings you can make it visible using one of the tweek programs...
