which registry value to change?

I'm running Deck's 402 SSS rom, and I'm hoping this reg value change is something someone can help me with, he's not been around to answer. Every time I hit the space bar when typing in any program it puts a period after every word. How can I change this?

Re: which registry value to change?

Does this happen when using the SIP or the hard keyboard?

You repeat rate could be set to low and it could be hitting a double space, which depending on the ROM may add a period.

Re: which registry value to change?

Start->Settings->Personal->Buttons->Up/Down Control

You may try to adjust "delay before first repeat"

That seemed to help but didn't fix it entirely. I appreciate your help, do you have any other suggestions?

Re: which registry value to change?

Is the keyboard config installed on your phone?
Maybe the space bar (press and hold) is set to add the "." character

Re: which registry value to change?

The Keyboard config allows your to remap any of the TP's keys, and add additional press and hold and press 2x.

If installed it would be under Start->Settings->System->Keyboard Config

If you didn't install it. I don't think that it is part of the ROM.

Other than that, my next suggestion would be a hard reset
