I was considering get an HTC touch pro off the interet and activating it with Sprint and getting the phone insurace plan they have for like $7 a month in case the phone breaks. But does flashling void that?

Simple. Just flash back to stock if you have any warranty issues.

Thanks, but where is the best place to get a touch pro? Sprint.com charges a ridiculous $299.99.

Re: Does flashing ROMS break warranty?

To answer your question...Yes, you void your warrenty but if you flash back to stock then relock they probably won't know. You take your chances. Good luck

Do what I did. I bought mine off of craigslist for real cheap. Activate it have it for about 1 month see if you can screw up the software somehow so that can be replace for free not fee, if you were to report it stolen you will have to pay the 50 bucks. But make sure that you have insurance under your plan first.

Purposely breaking a phone so you can get another one is FRAUD.
Do it right or don't do it.

Re: Does flashing ROMS break warranty?

Yes it does void your warranty.

and im on bell, and the problem is the STOCK radio that comes with my BELL phone is not available on here to re flash it back,

If your ever gonna flash your radio make sure you can flash it back, also with your ROM,

for me, the ROM is here to falsh back, but my radio is not.

so make sure if you flash the RADIO you can go back, as we on BELL can NOT. (we can on the ROM though)

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows CE; IEMobile 8.12; MSIEMobile6.0) Sprint T7380)

ok buy even the most broken peice of crap so long as its got a clean esn, when u activate it ask for insurance then tell sprint your phone wont turn on and you want to go through assurion as apposed to going in store because u want free shiping and u want them to credit the 100$ deductible, 4/5 will credit u back so call again if they say no
