try putting in 6 zeros, 000000 for both devices. that works on the bmw bluetooth. let me know how that works out.

i believe that you can put in any passocde you want as long as it is the same for car and phone. I can pair up with lotus LG just fine. It's the TP I have trouble with

NO, you have to use the correct password. it should be all 0"s or 1234... something like that. if you want to change it, you have to put in the correct password then change it to whatever you like.

Try using the keyboard to put in the code on the TP, sounds weird I know but I had to do that for my BT headphones and use "0000"

Finally figured it out. In the car manual it explains a way to have the phone iniate the pairing instead of the car.
For other MB owners with NTG2.5, go to Phone-->Phone List-->Update--> Options--> External Authorization Now you can go toyour TP and select Settings-->Bluetooth--> Add Device All is good now. |
