Disable autorotation and wakeup on keyboard slide?

Does anyone know how to accomplish this? I would like to disable the auto wake and screen rotation when I slide the keyboard out as my phone is constantly switching between portrait and landscape and will not stay in sleep mode because something is wrong with my sliding mechanism and I believe if I disable this feature it should fix the problem.

Try a different ROM and see if it has the same issue. For me it does so it is definitely hardware. But im just hoping if I disable that feature between the hardware and software I can fix it and just change orientation manually if I ever need it (which I dont really since my keyboard doesnt work).

Re: Disable autorotation and wakeup on keyboard slide?

Go to HKLM\Hardware\DeviceMap\Keybd
Create a new DWORD value called SlideWakeup
Set the DWORD data to 0

You need to use a registry editor for this, but after you do soft reset and problem solved

Re: Disable autorotation and wakeup on keyboard slide?

Well, I have tried different roms, even the stock rom but stills with the same issue. Actually the keyboard stop working this morning. I'm using juicy 8 and Manila 2.1, I have tried to disabe the autorotacion from the G-Sensor options but doesnt worked also I did a couple of hard resets but nothing happened. Maybe you are right guys and this is a hardware issue. Unfurtonally I'm not on the US so I dont know if could assist to a repair center here on Mexico with a technician or someone or send the device to my sister and see if could do something with it. Any ideas?
