Wifi wont stay connected to my phone

I need a lil help here trying to diagnose my phone connection issue to my wifi. its really hard to connect to my router. sometimes it takes 10 tries or more and it says connecting then just goes back to available. i dont get it. is my phone crapping out on me? i should try my friends wifi to see if same thing happens. i guess my question is does anyone else have these issues? thanks.

seems like some kind of bug with the phone. if i close the menu before connecting times out it will connect(not truly tested though) also going the long way through start menu etc etc it also connected fairly easy. any ideas? im also using spb mobile shell 3.0.1 if that has any effect with mentioned mighty rom in my profile.
