TP On Screen Keyboard (Full QWERTY)

The on-screen full QWERTY keyboard on my Touch Pro will not revert back to alpha keys. For some reason it is stuck on the numeric keys. When I tap the ABC key to go to the alpha keyboard, it does nothing. It looks like the compact QWERTY is doing the same thing. When I choose "Keyboard", that one seems to work fine, I just prefer the "Full QWERTY". I am running the stock WM 6.1 Sprint ROM. Also, I performed a hard reset whick remedied the problem for a couple of days, but the issue reappeared. Has anyone else had this issue? Any help or suggestions would be greatly appeciated. Thanks!

This happened to me when i first used the WeatherEditor V1.1. How ever, every time after that time it hasnt caused it. So, im betting its some program youre installing thats bugging it out.

Re: TP On Screen Keyboard (Full QWERTY)

Bingo! I uninstalled each program one at a time, trying the keyboard after each install. After uninstalling "Classic Word Completion", the keyboard returned to normal. Thanks for the help....

No prob

And i dont find anything wrong really with the auto complete thats there either

Another thing that can mess it up is the T9 option in Diamond Tweak. Having it checked to 'on' will make the phone keypad just numbers no matter what you do.

Hmmm....I may re-install the Word Completetion and check the T9 settings; I'm not running Diamond Tweak, but I do have Advanced Configuraion Tool installed. I really liked the Word Completion.
