TP Charger Issue Does Anyone Else Have This Problem?

Ok as soon as I got the TP I have had issues with the wall charger. What I would do is plug it into the wall or an extension cord and I had to put it a certain way for it to charge. It is very very picky and has to be positioned a certain way for it to charge which is

I also just bought a charging cradle a week or so ago and guess what? Wont even charge now. Charged one night out of the blue no issue but now I plug it in and the two lights go off and its no charging but it does charge the battery alone which is weird.

Sounds like a bad USB port on your TP. How long have you had the phone? That should be covered under warranty. I used to have a Vogue and ran into the same problem w/one of the replacements.

Ohyeah it's definitely legit. Any hardware issues are covered under warranty (within the first year of buying the phone). So if you're keyboard goes out (common for power users), or anything like that it's covered. I actually had like a little bubble start growing under the sceen and I got mine replaced, no prob.

I would call the carrier (Sprint) first. I think if you go through Asurion they will charge you the $50 deductible to replace it. And since it's under warranty you shouldn't have to cover the deductible.

As long as you didn't throw it against the wall (tempting sometimes...) or take it for a swim the warranty will cover you. They're probably going to send you a refurbished TP instead of a brand new one though. You can get strong with them on it though. Or I've even heard Sprint having the malfunctioning hardware repaired at a repair center.

Hope that helps!

Sounds like the usb on the TP is toast.

That happened with like my third or forth Mogul. I have the TEP so they swapped it for free. If you have the insurance it shouldn't cost you anything to replace.

Re: TP Charger Issue Does Anyone Else Have This Problem?

I hate my TP charger. The power adapter portion on it is so loose. I got so frustrated I loaded it up with glue. Now it doesn't come loose and works everytime.

Could it be a battery issue?
