Re: Juicy 8 vs Energy ROM

+1 for Energy, I was a Juicy fan before and when I went to Energy I didnt look back. I guess for me I like loaded roms. Saves me the trouble of installing apps that already are cooked into the rom.

Yeah, I have been using energy for the past for few days and like it, but still haven't made up my mind.

Re: Juicy 8 vs Energy ROM

Haven't run either on the TP, but have run Mighty's 4, 5, and 6 and NSFFan's on my TP.

Flashed NRGZ to my new Diamond and only had 60mb storage mem left. I did really dig it.

Flashed Juicy to my Diamond and had 80 left. Sticking with it.

Re: Juicy 8 vs Energy ROM

They are all great rom's in their own rights. It really depends on each individual user and what he or she is looking for in a custom rom. I have run just about all of them plus my own. I like a loaded rom so juicy's wasn't for me. I was running NRG's Energy rom then went to Merdinh new 6.5. Currently I am using NFSFAN's latest with radio 1.12.34F and am pretty happy with it. Pretty snappy, the battery life is better than the Energy rom and even after adding my programs I still have more than 60% of program memory left.

+1 for Energy

why was the rom banned?

You can check in the forums and you could use reg-edit. I beelieve Juicy posted an edit for the battery on his rom. I tried it with NFSFAN's rom and it works on his also.
