Prevent Email Syncing at Night

Is there anything to prevent email syncing in the middle of the night? I use the phone as my alarm clock and I hate the alerts from TouchFlo.

What email are you using? Hotmail, exchange,etc...

I'm using IMAP with Pocket Outlook (is that what's it's called?).

go to activesync then go to menu, schedule, adjust peak times and set the off peak syncing to be every 4 hours (maximum on ym rom at least) at least then it would only beep twice during an 8 hour period?
