Is it required to Flash to Stock when returning the TP?

Is it required to return the phone to stock ROM and lock SPL before sending it to Vzw?

It's not required, HOWEVER, not doing so, may void your warranty as any use of untested and approved software by verizon could be said to have caused what ever issue you may be experiencing!

Re: Is it required to Flash to Stock when returning the TP?

Some people have took thier Tp back without flashing back to stock but I say better safe then sorry.... I mean it takes about 5 or so minutes to flash & relock...just my opinion

Re: Is it required to Flash to Stock when returning the TP?

couldn't agree more...just flash and relock. I mean you're probably going to do a hard reset before you send it back anyway, right?

Re: Is it required to Flash to Stock when returning the TP?

I agree that it should be reverted back to stock. You never know, you may get a smart *** that knows about the flashing process especially now that the in store service reps are out sourced.

Yeah, I would definitely flash back and relock.
It's better safe than sorry.

That'll never happen.
It just keeps happening.
It's like it happens even more now that they force people to read the rules. lol.
