Taking in my touch pro

I was thinking about taking my touch pro into the sprint store because my friend stepped on my phone and it scratched my scree, and chunk of the bottom fell off, and when i text random numbers appear in my text.

I have mighty rom 4 and i was wondering if i have to return to the stock rom. also, since i unlocked my phone do i have to lock it back?

Definitely flash stock and relock. Even though it's physical damage, they can and probably will give you grief about voiding your warranty.

def. flash back to stock and relock...also make sure if you changed your radio to flash back to the stock one...

better safe than sorry, physical damage is typically covered by asurion, which requires a 100$ deductible. If you're lucky a tech might repair for free though.

If you flash the stock rom, it should include the stock radio as well.

I am doing the same thing with my phone, and have also posted in the fourm,

Im with bell,

I know we shoudl flash back to stock rom (see sticky above)

and then we need to re lock the phone.

but the problem is the radio, i dont know what verison my radio "should be" so i can find that version and flash back to it.

help me out man. please?

How can we find out what version our radio should be?

I am with BELL and i dont know what version my radio should be.

Im pretty sure that the stock ROM includes the radio.

No it does not,

Only the stock ROM that is shipped includes the radio, but the one we have for bell is a DUMPED rom, so that does not include the radio.

I say this cuz its what i have been reading.

I would love to test it out, and post my resaults.

can you please remind me how to falsh the bell image?

I have the RUU_Signed.nbh file for the bell image.

how do i flash it on my phone. i forgot.

a) from what i've read, a bell radio isn't available right now.... so i think your best bet might be to hope they don't notice

b) change the name of the file to RAPHIMG.nbh, put it on your SD card, hold vol down and power while soft resetting. this will put you in bootloader mode and flash the stock rom

*edit* telus radio is 1.04.05v and bell's is 1.04.02v... maybe you can flash that for a better chance of fooling them? :P

ah yes, I didn't realize that Bell's ROM was only the dumped version. I can only assume they don't provide a shipped one online?
