Cradle for car + fm?

Anyone know of any car cradles with FM built in? Right now I just throw my phone onto the passenger seat of my car and plug in the 3-in-1 contraption which is then connected to my FM transmitter...I KNOW theres a way/product to make it all pretty :P

Seeing a lot of iPod/iPhone cradles with FM on Amazon, was thinking of getting one of them and rewiring the cable to me miniUSB instead of whatever the iPhone uses. Only thing with this is, I've seen that a lot of iDevices actually switch into FM mode when plugged into an FM transmitter (like the Griffin transmitter)--thus making the FM only be able to be configured via the iDevice, not directly....

Re: Cradle for car + fm?

Thanks but looks like it's not compatible with the Sprint model (which is identical to what I have--Alltel).

Re: Cradle for car + fm?

Bump. Anyone? Even something not *made* for the TP but has the "hands" to hold on to it + headphone cable with FM transmitter and usb charger attached. Don't really want to take JB Weld to the holder and transmitter I have now :P

Re: Cradle for car + fm?

How is this kit? Does it sound good for playing music through the FM radio?

Re: Cradle for car + fm?

That kit is not so good It only allows you to play FM or charge the phone, but not both at the same time. Plus FM transmitter is too weak for my car
I had to open it to rewire it to play and charge and to make a bigger antena for transmitter.
One more thing - the usb pin in it is not very well attached to the case and easily shifted down by you sliding the phone. I had to put a big amount of glue to secure it for ever.
