No ppst.exe file in windows

Very odd.

Flashed to SSK's latest great 6.1 ROM, and couldn't get my VZW gps working. Decided to do the ///Bored/// fix, ran his .cab, and discovered there's no ppst.exe in my windows folder.

I DO have "show all files" selected.

Hmm. Any ideas about this? Thanks.

You will only get that file in your windows directory if you install his PPST cab. Did you?

Re: No ppst.exe file in windows

Thanks for the help. I make the shame-faced admission that I don't know what you mean really. I've made ROMs from his kitchen, don't recall seeing PPST as an option there; is it a post-flash install? Anyhow, this flash was to his current 6.1 ROM as configured, didn't use the kitchen.

I'd love to understand this, so I hope you explain it. The good new is that, in the interim, I've got GPS working. I don't know why . . . I fiddled around with a bunch of things and found that it now works. Nice.

Re: No ppst.exe file in windows

Glad you got your GPS working. Part of the "bored" gps fix is installing the PPST cab that is in the first post of his thread.
