Vibrate on Connect with newer roms?

I have been looking around a bit and have found no reg tweek or cab to help me out here besides the S2U2 ability to add the Vibrate on Connect feature when making a call. The problem with the S2C2 one is its a bit harsh not a subtle little vib when you make a connection. Its not a big deal but since I talk a lot while driving (with a headset of course ) I like having the vib to tell me that I made a connection since I cannot be stuck looking at the phone for 5+ seconds as it connects. Does anyone have an idea how to bring it back in any way?

Go to start > settings > personal tab > phone > advanced tab.

check mark "Vibrate device when connection is established"

I was under the impression that it only worked with the HTC Dialer, did you revert to the windows one?

Oh, I see more clearly now. lol

Try checking to see if the option is under

START > SETTINGS and on the personal tab, open "Sounds and notifications".

Next to Event: select "Connection established" and set it to vibrate.

Hope this helps.

Re: Vibrate on Connect with newer roms?

There is a Connection Established option but sadly it does nothing for the phone. I have a hunch that goes toward either Internet connection or WiFi connection. :/

Oh well S2U2 will do till this gets fixed if ever.

Also I used a few of the dialers from the PPCKitchen and am now on the White S2U with Curtain but even the Diamond/Touch dialer didn't have the option in that kitchen. I had an old 21109 eRice kitchen last that had that option. Might try copying the OEM dialer from that to this one and give that a whirl maybe.

Re: Vibrate on Connect with newer roms?

you can do this manually through regedit...if the value doesnt exist create a new dword value called ConnectingVibration and make the value a "1"

go to HKLM\Software\HTC\PHONE\PhoneExtendSetting

cheers!!
