GPS lags several seconds

So I've unlocked my TP and gone through a few roms. And one thing I've noticed when taking the time to hack the GPS. Even though it works well, it works slowly.

And this is with bored the |||Bored||| fix and using the R3born rom (which states the fix is already applied, and true enough, the GPS locks without any effort on my part).

The sats lock quickly, but it trails my actual location/speed by quite a few seconds. Anyone else noticed this?

Also...it appears the hack driver doesn't support NMEA it apears.

Any thoughts? am I crazy?

No, you are not crazy. The GPS lags by about 3 seconds. Actually had it happen to me yesterday, where WindowsLive maps didnt update fast enough, and I almost missed an exit.

Re: GPS lags several seconds

I was just wondering...doesn't the QPST fix work on this phone so a hacked driver is needed?

Re: GPS lags several seconds

this appears to be a well known issue, with Mapquest Nav I barely notice any lag, if any it gotta be less that half a sec...however Sprint Nav shows a lot more lag may be 1-2 sec...I dont use uit but tried it..
