Titan --> TP Upgrades - Ringtone delay

For those of you who've upgraded from the titan, does the TP suffer from ringtone delays as much?

I've read every thread I can find on the topic and it seems to be a WinMo / CDMA issue. I'm just looking for a solution that's more tolerable than my mogul's.

Thanks.

Re: Titan --> TP Upgrades - Ringtone delay

I haven't upgraded from the titan but i've owned other htc phones before. The touch pro is pretty slow with ring delay. There is various programs such as diamond tweak and advanced config that can stop somewhat of a delay (as a option) but it's still slow. Hope this helped somewhat.

Re: Titan --> TP Upgrades - Ringtone delay

actually in my experience those apps induce a delay. (they were programmed for gsm)
I don't have an issue with ring delay with either mogul or tp.

I do want to be clear however, there is a breif time where the phone knows of a call before it actually rings. however, I have noticed that on virtually every phone I've ever owned... you know how you reach for the phone before it rings...

Woulden't that be considered a delay? Yes i see your point but like i said the tweak's don't really improve the delay. It's not worth not getting the phone. The touch pro is the best phone i've ever owned.
