Repeating alerts/notifications... [need a cab/app/etc]

So on my old Blackberry I had this nifty app called Blackberry Alerts. The basic function of this app was to annoy the heck out of me until I acknowledge whatever alert that was triggered (new sms, email, missed call, etc). It made an audible beep/sound, a constant blinking (pattern) light, and vibrating.

I know there are reg tweaks to enable the "Repeat" option for SMS/etc but it only works while the phone is outside of its Suspend/Sleep state, which my phone is in ~10 seconds after the alert first happens. The reg tweaks to allow the Repeat option works, but only for 10-30 seconds. After which the light stops blinking and the audible alert stops completely.

So, my request/question: An app that constantly bugs me about the notification until I acknowledge it. It can bug me every other second or every other minute, I have no preference (max 2 minutes). If anyone knows of any such app, I would be incredibly thankful!

Also SPB Phone Suite will do this same thing. Thats what I've been using to remind me.

Both apps seem to bring the phone out of its conservative suspend state, if I get a txt or email at night and if my phones not plugged in, my battery will be dead in a matter of hours. Why can't WinMo have a suspend feature like Blackberries? Better yet, dynamic clock control
