data con. prompts for password?

i have Mighty ROM 5 and i did a clearstorage to correct some issues..
last night i was not able to connect to data.. played with some settings then gave up. today i tried again and it goes right to a screen asking for a user name and password (no idea what that would be) so i just leave everything blank and hit "ok" and my data con. connects... so now every time i use data it does that... whats the deal?
searched a little, didn't find anything

Re: data con. prompts for password?

check your connection settings for your DATA connection (#777 for Verizon, but your sprint so I do not know what it would be)

its under MANAGE CONNECTIONS in CONNECTIONS.

Contact Sprint for the information if it is missing, or try leaving it blank, not sure for sprint info

Re: data con. prompts for password?

next time that happens... leave user name and password blank then check save password and click ok.
