I'm sure it's a simple registry edit but you can use advanced config to change it

The registry key is HKLM\Software\HTC\Camera\General. Set the EnableDCIM value to 1

Re: Quick Question... How do I make the DCIM pic folder the default?

I have a related question: How do I set the folder that my phone opens to when I insert a picture in email? It opens to "my Pictures" on the device. I always have to navigate to the storage card which is annoying.

Re: Quick Question... How do I make the DCIM pic folder the default?

I have a related question as well.

How do I change the default folder for saving pictures that arive via MMS? All of my pictures are currently stored on my memory card, including pictures that I take with the phone. But if someone sends me a picture it is saved within MyDocuments/MyPictures on the main memory.

Thanks
