Setting up hotmail on tp.

I'm trying to setup my hotmail account on my tp and opera continues to activate instead. My account will not display in the mail section on the tp. Anyone have idea? My gmail setup correctly.

You just get the TP or did you flash to another ROM? At what point does it not let you create, etc?

not trying to treat you like a noob but did you soft reset? my hotmail is not a problem but gmail can act funny sometimes. it's strange that yours would be reversed.

when your in gmail hit menu,tools,new account. set it up that way, worked for me.

Hotmail does not have POP nor imap fowarding available on the free accounts, so just use the live application to access it, it's supposed to provide better battery life too.

Yes please treat me like a noob, that way everyone will understand. I did a hard reset after the ROM flash and a soft reset. I did change to KK's new 2.0 ROM. It's a great ROM with lots of apps.

I was able to use hotmail on my 6700 and 6900. Any other thoughts?

Tried to setup after being in gmail, no luck.

Any error messages? Did it give you a shot at entering the necessary information, email address/password?

hey ejfudd do u have msn messenger in ur phone?? if you do just open it up, put ur email and password, go next make sure u take the check where it says to sync ur contacts to ur phone contacts and after u in u will see ur emails in ur phone.
