Funny Little Tip

Just something I noticed and would share....

When I first got my TP, I found that when the keyboard was open, the back (battery cover) felt, well, flimsy. My mogul had felt much more solid. This feeling never went away; it just felt like the back flexed too much.

About a week ago, I decided to see if a microSD would fit between the battery cover and the phone (as a spare). It did. The side effect I have noticed since though, is it has taken all the slack out of the cover. Personally, it feels much more solid (like a solid one piece instead of a cover).

I know, it's kinda dumb and silly, but I thought how that flimsy feeling was only real complaint (so far) and maybe others might like it.

Re: Funny Little Tip

yeah i hated how my TP felt, i put a line of masking tape on the inside of the cover where ever it squeaked or felt flimsy. Some spots needed two strips or three but over all this helped greatly! a little cheaper than the sd card trick too haha but thats a good way to keep a spare one with you! damn i gotta try that

Yep, exactly what I'm saying. While with the Mogul is was damn near impossible to carry a spare without mods, simply sliding a spare just above the battery on the TP, and then installing the cover works awesome. 100% noticable difference.

I'm glad to know that at least 2 other people agreed with how the TP keyboard/back cover feels.

Re: Funny Little Tip

weird that you posted this yesterday!!! I was carrying a spare microSD round to flash mightyRom's latest cause I wasn't gonna be home soon, and I came to the same conclusion when trying to figure out where to put the extra microSD

if you dye your back cover, it shrinks it minimally, having the same effect
