removing the first battery icon in the titlebar

Using the sprint shipping rom, there is a battery icon farthest to the left that is not changed by diamondtweaks or the registry editor.

I'm considering flashing a different rom just to get rid of it. I've put tsowen's titlebar which looks beautiful, except to the left of the pretty icons there is a blocky pixelated old three bar battery indicator.

Can anyone help me get rid of that?

Thanks a lot.

Re: removing the first battery icon in the titlebar

Also are you sure it is not on the right like stated by meanfishy

I did some searching for you and found this at the XDA site:
Try playing with the battery section of the hack

Show Time,Date,both or Battery on top bar at Today screen
[HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Shell\]
Time:
"ShowTitleBarClock"=1 / "TBOpt"=1
Date:
"ShowTitleBarClock"=1 / "TBOpt"=2
Both:
"ShowTitleBarClock"=1 / "TBOpt"=3
Nothing:
"ShowTitleBarClock"=1 / "TBOpt"=0
Battery:
"ShowTitleBarClock"=0 / "TBOpt"=1

Re: Battery indicator on Left side of titlebar

There is an old-style battery monitor that appears in every program, unlike the clock/battery that has been replaced.

This is pretty much just a flash of the sprint shipping rom from another thread plus tsowens task bar and spb plus today.

Has nobody ever seen the battery monitor on the left?

That's a 1st for me.

I am interested to see what your registry looks like to get 2 battery icons, have you followed Unknown's suggestion to see if there is out of place registry?

Re: removing the first battery icon in the titlebar

It came from spb pocket plus. I uninstalled that and its gone without even restarting. Now I just have to find a new launcher that can put program buttons on my home screen.

Re: removing the first battery icon in the titlebar

if you are using SPB, there are A LOT options/customizations and I think there is the option of having the battery icon. need to check those settings

There's probably a setting you can change to turn it off
