Leave BT on all the time?

I'm trying to get the most battery time as possible and assume that turning off the bluetooth is going to help. But. I use the BT a lot.... When I get in the car.. etc.

What does everyone else do? I might have to get EABPlus to make a button to enable the BT when I need it.

Re: Leave BT on all the time?

I leave mine on all the time but I had to get the Mugen 3000mAh battery to do this. My stock battery drained way to fast with BT on.

Re: Leave BT on all the time?

mine's fine on all day, it just depends on how much I use the phone, voice/data/a2dp..
I have s9's that're on my head all day. the headset actually turns off after an hour of inactivity, but I have mscv read my txt's so it rarely turns off.
if a baseball game is good, I get lots of txts, and the constant broadcasting can wear on my battery.

Re: Leave BT on all the time?

I leave bluetooth on all the time, but only have an active-device nearby when I'm in my jeep (which has bluetooth built in). On vs off, I don't see much impact on battery life.

Re: Leave BT on all the time?

I use AEButton + to turn BT on/off with a dbl press of the red phone button.

Re: Leave BT on all the time?

I just leave mine on all of the time, there's an increased drain but not huge.

Sat at work today, watched a Futurama movie, 1 hr 22 minutes. Bluetooth paired to my A2DP headset, playing in CorePlayer.

The whole hour and 22 minutes only drained the battery 12%... pretty dang impressive because if I were to browse sites for an hour and a half, I'd have lost a lot more than that.

Re: Leave BT on all the time?

I pretty much leave mine on all of the time and do not notice any difference in battery drain.
