Virus Protection?

I tried a search but got a zero response, but that seems to happen to me a lot, not sure why.

Being a Mac user, but having gotten a Sprint HTC Touch Pro w/WindowsMobi I wondered if I have to be concerned about viruses? Sorry if it's been asked before.

BTW, I love my touch, choose it over an iPhone if that counts for anything

Re: Virus Protection?

As far as I know, it is not an issue. I have had WinMo since pocketpc 2003 os, and never been issue.

Re: Virus Protection?

It is not needed it would be a waste of money, no virus can at this time affect WM.

Thumbs up Re: Virus Protection?

Thanks for replying so quickly. I wondered as I don't recall seeing any posts about it here or at xda.

Sorry, but that is completely false. They do exist, it's just not that likely that you'll get infected. If you google windows moble virus you will see plenty of info on it.
